Watling Street etc, Stone in the Borough of Dartford - Amendment 6: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this made Order will be to introduce various waiting restrictions on the following lengths of roads in Stone, Dartford:-

  • Brent Close – On the east side at its junction with Colin Close to a point 10 metres in a southerly direction and 10 metres in a northerly direction.
  • Colin Close –(1) On both sides of its junction with Brent Close for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction. (2) On the north side from a point 44 metres east of its junction with Brent Close for a distance of 43 metres around the turning head.
  • Clarendon Gardens – (1) On both sides of its junction southern junction with Clarendon Gardens for a distance of 15 metres in a north and south direction. (2) On both sides of its southern junction of Clarendon Gardens for a distance of 15 metres in an easterly direction.
  • Watling Street – DYL – On the south side on both sides of its junction to the entrance of Priory Mews Care Home for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction and 10 metres in an easterly direction.

This order was originally advertised as Amendment 32 but due to the recent consolidation order it has been re-numbered as above.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
