Various Roads, Maidstone in the Borough of Maidstone - Amendment 12: Waiting Restrictions

Consultation has concluded

The effect of this made Order will be to place double yellow lines on the following length of roads in Maidstone:-

  • Hockers Lane - on both sides from its junction with Ware Street for a distance of 15 metres in a north easterly direction
  • Ware Street - on both sides from a point 15 metres north west of its junction with Hockers Lane for a distance of 35 metres in a south easterly direction.

The below, Sandy Mount, has not gone ahead and has been revised under a new scheme.

  • Sandy Mount - (1) on its south side 3 metres east of the western boundary of 5 Sandy Mount for a distance of 88 metres in an easterly direction (2) on its north side from the permit parking bays opposite number 7 Sandy Mount for a distance of 50 metres in a south easterly direction

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
