London Road in Dartford - Amendment 24: Waiting restrictions

Consultation has concluded

The effect of this made Order will be to introduce or amend existing waiting restrictions waiting to be prohibited at any time and correct and update plotting on the following roads in the Borough of Dartford:-

  • Castle Hill Drive – plot new crossing marking for admin purposes
  • Cotton Road - correct the existing markings due to the new layout of the road
  • London Road – (1) on the north side from its junction with Cotton Lane for a distance of 17 metres in an easterly direction (2) correct the existing markings due to the new layout of the road
  • Westgate House Car Park – remove restrictions as they had been plotted in error.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
