High Street, Broadstairs in the District of Thanet - Amendment 20: Waiting Restrictions
Consultation has concluded
The effect of this proposed Order would be to introduce waiting restrictions on High Street in Broadstairs, Thanet:- (1) on the north side outside 40 High Street remove 8 metres of DYLs and replace with P&D bays (2) on the north side outside 32/34 High Street remove P&D bays and replace with a pedestrian build out (3) on the north side outside 30 High Street remove 1.4 metres of P&D bays and replace with DYLs (4) on the south side outside 29 High Street remove 1 metre of P&D bays and replace with DYLs (5) on the south side outside 27 High Street remove a P&D bays and replace with a pedestrian build out.
This order is proposed for the following reasons:
- for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
- for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrian
- for preventing damage to the road or to any building on or near the road.
The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
