Alders Meadow, Tonbridge in the Borough of Tonbridge & Malling - Amendment 6: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this made Order will be to introduce double yellow lines waiting restrictions on the following length of roads in Tonbridge, Tonbridge & Malling:-

  • Alders Meadow – DYL – (1) On the east side from a point 13 metres north of its junction with Audley Avenue for a distance of 30 metres in a northerly direction (2) Place a Bus Stop Clearway outside 14 Alders Meadow. SYL (Mon-Sat 8am-5pm) – (3) On the north east side from a point 63 metres north of its junction with Audley Avenue for a distance of 47 metres around the turning head.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • to avoid the danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
