A227 Wrotham Road, Meopham in the Borough of Gravesham - Amendment 13: Waiting restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order would be to introduce no waiting at any time double yellow lines (DYL) on A227 Wrotham Road in Meopham, Gravesham:-

  1. on both sides remove the DYL between 1 Nevill Place, Wrotham Road and Fletchers and replace with a zebra crossing
  2. on the east side remove 4 meters of the existing limited parking bay outside 1 Nevill Place, Wrotham Road
  3. on the west side extend the existing limited parking bay by 6 metres in a southerly direction outside Sunningdale Court

This order is being made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
