Worrall Drive, Wouldham in the Borough of Tonbridge and Malling - Amendment 2: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this made Order will be to introduce double yellow lines waiting restrictions – no waiting at any time on the following length of roads in Wouldham, Tonbridge & Malling:-

  • Stephenson Lane – (1) On the south side of its junction with Worrall Drive for a distance of 13.5 metres in a westerly direction. (2) On the north side of its junction with Worrall Drive for a distance of 11.5 metres in a westerly direction
  • Keepers Cottage Lane – (1) On the north side of its junction with Worrall Drive for a distance of 11 metres in a westerly direction. (2) On the south side of its junction with Worrall Drive for a distance of 14 metres in a westerly direction
  • Worrall Drive – (1) On both sides of its junction with Stephenson Lane for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction and for a distance of 24 metres in a southerly direction. (2) On both sides of its junction with Keepers Cottage Lane for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction and for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • to avoid the danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).

(2) On both sides of its junction with Keepers Cottage Lane for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction and for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.

    Following the statutory consultation period, the scheme has been reviewed and the decision has been taken to make this Order permanent.

    Anyone may, by application to the High Court by Monday 26 January 2026, challenge the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or any instrument made thereunder, or that there has been a failure to comply with any statutory requirement to the Orders.
