The effect of this made Order will be to introduce new or to extend or amend existing double yellow lines on the following lengths of roads in Sandwich: Burch Avenue, Fordwich Place, Sandown Road, St. Barts Road, St. Georges Road and Whitefriars Way.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
