Various Roads, Whitfield in the District of Dover - Amendment 1: Prohibition of Traffic Movements

The effect of this made Order will be to prohibit all vehicles from entry (except for local buses and cycles as shown on the plans) on the following length of roads in Whitfield, Dover:-

  • Dover Road – banned right and left hand turn at its junction into Farmstead Way except for local buses
  • Farmstead Way – for its entire length
  • Red Kite Road – from a point 229 metres from its junction with Eagle Drive to its junction with Honeywood Parkway
  • Richmond Way – from its junction with Archers Court Road for a distance of 15 meters in a southeasterly direction. Banned right and left hand turn from Archers Court Road into Richmond Way except for local buses.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).

  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
