Various Roads, Whitfield in the District of Dover - Amendment 118: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order would be to introduce new or to extend or amend existing waiting restrictions (double yellow lines) in the following lengths of roads in Whitfield in the District of Dover:-

  • Dover Road – on both sides from a point 4 metres south of the southern boundary of the property called Arleigh for a distance of 232 metres in a southerly direction
  • Farmstead Way – on both sides for its entire length
  • Richmond Way – (1) on both sides from its junction with Archers Court Road for a distance of 205 metres in a southerly then easterly direction (2) place bus stop clearways and a pedestrian crossing from a point in line with the building line of 42 Kittwake Crescent to the junction with Stonechat Lane
  • Red Kite Road - on both sides for its entire length.

This order is being made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
