Various roads Tonge & Teynham, Swale - Amendment 3: Speed Limit Order
Consultation has concluded
The effect of this made Order will be to reduce the current speed limit to 40mph on the following lengths of roads in Tonge & Teynham, Swale:-
Dully Road – from its junction with London Road for a distance of 96 metres in a southerly direction
London Road (A2) – from the western property boundary of Ashmead and the existing 30mph speed limit in an easterly direction until it joins up with the existing 30mph speed limit.
This order has been made for the following reasons:
to avoid the danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
