Various Roads, Tonbridge & Malling in the Borough of Tonbridge & Malling - Amendment 1: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this made Order will be to introduce double yellow lines – no waiting at any time on the following lengths of roads in Tonbridge & Malling:-

  • Borough Green Road – (1) on both sides from the south connection to the roundabout with Ightham By-Pass and Dark Hill Road for a distance of 40 metres in a south westerly direction (2) on both sides from the north connection to the roundabout with Ightham By-Pass and Dark Hill Road for a distance of 35 metres in a north easterly direction
  • Dark Hill Road – (1) on the north east side from its junction with Borough Green Road for a distance of 369 metres in a southeasterly direction (2) on the south west side from its roundabout junction with Borough Green Road for a distance of 51 metres in a south easterly then between points 91 and 121 metres, between points 161 and 191 metres, between points 251 metres and 281 metres and then between points 321 metres to the junction with Hazelbourne Avenue (3) on the south west side from its junction with Hazelbourne Avenue for a distance of 15 metres in an easterly direction
  • Ightham by-pass – on both sides from the roundabout connection with Borough Green Road and Dark Hill Road for a distance of 30 metres in a westerly direction.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • to avoid the danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).

  • Ightham by-pass – on both sides from the roundabout connection with Borough Green Road and Dark Hill Road for a distance of 30 metres in a westerly direction.
