Various roads, Sevenoaks Weald in the district of Sevenoaks - Amendment 1: Speed limit order

The effect of this made Order will be to reduce the current speed limit from 30mph to 20mph on the following lengths of roads in Sevenoaks Weald, Sevenoaks:

Elmfield Close
Hurst Farm Road
Mount Pleasant Road
Overdale
Paiges Farm Close The Wickets
Weald CloseWindmill Road
Church Road
Glebe Road Long Barn Road
Morleys Road
Scabharbour Road




And to extend the 30mph speed limit on Long Barn Road from its current location extend by a further 139 metres in a southerly direction.

This Order was originally advertised as Amendment 30 but due to the consolidation of the orders for Sevenoaks this Order has now become Amendment 1.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
