Various Roads, Ospringe in the Borough of Swale - Amendment 1: Speed Limit Order

The effect of this made Order will be to introduce a 30mph speed limit on the following lengths of roads in Ospringe, Faversham:-

  • Brogdale Road - from its junction with Whitehill to the western boundary of Ash Cottage, Brogdale Road
  • Porters Lane – for its entire length
  • Stalisfield Road – from its junction with Whitehill to the western boundary of 6 Meadow Bank
  • Whitehill – for its entire length.

This order was originally advertised as Amendment 9 but due to the recent consolidation order it has been renamed as above.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
