Various Roads, Ospringe in the Borough of Swale - Amendment 9: Speed Limit Order

The effect of this proposed Order would be to introduce a 30mph speed limit on the following lengths of roads in Ospringe, Faversham:-

• Brogdale Road - from its junction with Whitehill to the western boundary of Ash Cottage, Brogdale Road
• Porters Lane – for its entire length
• Stalisfield Road – from its junction with Whitehill to the western boundary of 6 Meadow Bank
• Whitehill – for its entire length.

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

• to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
• for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
