Various Roads, New Romney in the District of Folkestone and Hythe - Amendment 2: Speed Limit

The effect of this proposed Order would be to introduce a 20mph zone speed limit on the following lengths of roads in New Romney, Folkestone and Hythe:-
- Anne Roper Close, Ashdown Crescent, Belle View Close, Blenheim Road, Carey Close, Cherry Gardens, Church Approach, Church Lane, Church Road, Cinque Ports Road, Clark Road, Collins Road, Daglish Close, Greenly Way, Haywards Close, Imbert Close, Josephs Way, Links Way, Learoyd Road, Lions Road, Madeira Road, Marlborough Close, Marsh Crescent, Marsh View Close, Mountfield Road, Nether Avenue, Orchard Drive, Park Road, Queens Road, St Andrews Road, St Martins Road, St Nicholas Road, Station Approach, The Churchlands, The Fairway, The Meadows, The Saltings, Tookey Road, Triton Lane, Victoria Road, Victoria Road West, Victoria Street, Warren Road, Wells Close, and Wiles Avenue – For their entire length
This order is proposed for the following reasons:
- avoid the danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
- for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
- for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
