Various Roads, Marden in the Borough of Maidstone - Amendment 15: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this made Order will be to place double yellow lines (DYL) and single yellow lines (SYL) on the following length of roads in Marden, Maidstone:-

  • Albion Road – (1) on the east side to a point 10 metres north and 10 metres south of its junction with Stanley Road (2) on the east side to a point 10 metres north and 10 metres south of its junction with Seymour Drive
  • Goudhurst Road – (1) on the east side to a point 10 metres north and 10 metres south of its junction with Admiral Way (2) on the west side to a point 10 metres north and 10 metres south of its junction with Gravel Pit Lane
  • Seymour Road – on both sides of the junction with Albion Road for a distance of 15 metres in an easterly direction
  • Stanley Road - on both sides of the junction with Albion Road for a distance of 15 metres in an easterly direction
  • Goudhurst Road – (SYL 10.30am to 11am every day except public holidays) - (1) on the east side from the southern boundary of Rose Villas for a distance of 147 metres in a southerly direction (2) on the east side from the southern boundary of Radstock for a distance of 157 metres in a southerly direction (3) on the west side from a point 20 metres south of its junction with Admiral Way for a distance of 144 metres in a southerly direction (4) on the west side from a point 10 metres south of its junction with Mayes Road for a distance of 21 metres in a southerly direction (5) on the west side from a point 10 metres south of its junction with Gravel Pit Lane for a distance of 46 metres in a southerly direction.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).

  • Seymour Road – on both sides of the junction with Albion Road for a distance of 15 metres in an easterly direction
  • Stanley Road - on both sides of the junction with Albion Road for a distance of 15 metres in an easterly direction
  • Goudhurst Road – (SYL 10.30am to 11am every day except public holidays) - (1) on the east side from the southern boundary of Rose Villas for a distance of 147 metres in a southerly direction (2) on the east side from the southern boundary of Radstock for a distance of 157 metres in a southerly direction (3) on the west side from a point 20 metres south of its junction with Admiral Way for a distance of 144 metres in a southerly direction (4) on the west side from a point 10 metres south of its junction with Mayes Road for a distance of 21 metres in a southerly direction (5) on the west side from a point 10 metres south of its junction with Gravel Pit Lane for a distance of 46 metres in a southerly direction.

This order has been made for the following reasons:
