Various Roads, Maidstone in the Borough of Maidstone - Amendment 11: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this made Order will be to replace current restrictions with single yellow lines (SYL) with restrictions of No Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6.30pm or double yellow lines (DYL) on the following length of roads in Maidstone:-

  • Huntsman Lane- SYL- (1) on the west side 20 metres from its junction with Ashford Road for a distance of 32 metres in a northerly direction (2) on the south side 84 metres from its junction with Ashford Road for a distance of 28 metres in a westerly direction
  • Hildenborough Crescent – DYL – on both sides of the road to the entrance to Allington Primary School from a point 15 metres south for a distance of 24 metres in a northerly then easterly and westerly directions.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
