Various Roads in the District of Sevenoaks - Amendment 47: Waiting Restrictions

Consultation has concluded

The effect of made Order will be to amend existing waiting restrictions (double yellow lines) on the following length of roads in the District of Sevenoaks:

  • Bayham Road – on both sides of the road at the junction with Serpentine Road between points 10 metres northwest and 10 metres southeast.
  • St Georges Road – on both sides of junction with Bradbourne Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction.
  • St Johns Road – on the east side between points 10 metres north and 10 metres south of the junction with St James Road.
  • St James Road – on both sides of junction with St Johns Road for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction.
  • Serpentine Road – (1) on the west side between points 10 metres north and 10 metres southwest of junction with Bayham Road. (2) On the east side between points 10 metres north and 15 metres southwest of its junction with Bayham Road.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
