Various Roads in Harrietsham in the Borough of Maidstone - Variation 46: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this made Order will be to introduce or amend existing waiting restrictions (waiting to be prohibited at any time) on the following lengths of roads in Harrietsham in the Borough of Maidstone:-

  • Station Road – on both sides of the junction with West Street for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction
  • West Street – (1) on north side from its eastern kerbline with Station Road for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction (2) on the south side from a point opposite and 10 metres east of the eastern kerb line of Station Road for a distance of 20 metres in a westerly direction.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
