Various roads, Higham in Gravesham - Amendment 6: Waiting restrictions order

The effect of this made Order will be to introduce double yellow lines on the following length of roads in Higham, Gravesham:

Forge Lane: On the west side from the junction with Villa Road for a distance of 18 meters in a southerly direction.

School Lane:

  • on the southeast side from the junction with Hermitage Road for a distance of 36 metres in a northerly direction.
  • on the northwest side from the junction with Villa Road for a distance of 26 metres in a northerly direction.

Villa Road:

  • on the southeast side from the junction with Forge Lane for a distance of 20 metres in a south westerly direction.
  • on the northwest side from the junction with School Lane for a distance of 31 metres in a south westerly direction.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
