Various Roads, Gravesend and Northfleet in the Borough of Gravesham - Amendment 4: Waiting Restrictions
The effect of this made Order will be to introduce a bus stand and no waiting at any time double yellow lines (DYL) on the following length of roads in Gravesend and Northfleet, Gravesham:-
Barr Road– DYL - On both sides from its junction with Thong Lane for a distance of 26 metres in a north westerly direction
Church Street – On the south side outside St George’s Church and St George’s Church Hall remove the existing limited waiting bays and double yellow lines and replace them with a Bus Stand (No Stopping Except Local Buses)
Cornfield Drive – DYL - (1) On the southeast side from the Coldharbour Road roundabout for a distance of 22 metres in a north easterly direction. (2) On the northwest side from the Coldharbour Road roundabout for a distance of 23 metres in a north easterly direction
Thong Lane – DYL – (1) On the north west side to a point 14 metres north and to a point 18 metres south from its junction with Barr Road.
This order has been made for the following reasons:
for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
for facilitating the passage of the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
