Various Roads, Faversham in the Borough of Swale - Amendment 7: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this made Order will be to amend or introduce no waiting at any time double yellow lines (DYL) on the following length of roads in Faversham, Swale:-

  • Love Lane – (1) on both sides at the junction with Graveney Road remove any parking restrictions and replace with a new crossing point (2) on the west side relocate the existing DYLs outside the Lodge and Chapel due to the new kerb layout (3) on the west side outside 75/89 Love Lane remove the existing DYLs (4) on the west side on the north kerb junction with Windermere relocate the existing DYLs due to the new kerb layout (5) on the west side on the south kerb junction with Windermere relocate the existing DYLs due to the new kerb layout and extend them by 18 metres in a southerly direction (6) on the east side place DYLs from a point opposite the southern boundary of 35 Love Lane to a point opposite the southern boundary of 15 Love Lane
  • Windermere – on both sides of the junction with Love Lane relocate the existing DYLs due to the new kerb layout
  • Unnamed Road - on both sides of the junction with Love Lane place DYLs for a distance of 10 metres in a easterly direction.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
