Various Roads, East Farleigh in the Borough of Maidstone - Amendment 13: Speed Limit Order
Consultation has concluded
The effect of this proposed Order would be to extend the current 30mph speed limit on the following lengths of roads in East Farleigh, Maidstone:-
- Forge Lane – from junction with Vicarage Lane for a distance of 150 meters in an easterly direction
- Gallants Lane – from junction with Wilsons Lane to junction with Heath Road
- Vicarage Lane – from the current speed restriction at its junction with Forge Lane for its entire length
- Wilsons Lane – for its entire length.
This order is being made for the following reasons:
- for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
- for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
- or preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
