Various Roads, Dartford in the Borough of Dartford - Amendment 30: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this made Order will be to introduce waiting restrictions on the following lengths of roads in the Borough of Dartford: -

  • Arundel Road – (1) on both sides from its junction with Chatsworth Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction
  • Burnham Crescent – On both sides of its junction with Chatsworth Road for a distance of 10 metres in north westerly direction
  • Chatsworth Road – (1) on the north side to a point 10 metres east and 10 metres west of its junction with Burnham Crescent (2) on the north side to a point 10 metres east and 10 metres west of its junction with Arundel Road (3) on the south side to a point 10 metres east and 10 metres west of its junction with Chatsworth Road school entrance (4) on south side to a point 10 metres east and 10 metres weest of its junction with Homleigh Avenue
  • Homleigh Avenue – on both sides of its junction with Chatsworth Road for a distance of 10 metres in a south easterly direction

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).

The effect of this made Order will be to introduce waiting restrictions on the following lengths of roads in the Borough of Dartford: -

  • Arundel Road – (1) on both sides from its junction with Chatsworth Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction
  • Burnham Crescent – On both sides of its junction with Chatsworth Road for a distance of 10 metres in north westerly direction
  • Chatsworth Road – (1) on the north side to a point 10 metres east and 10 metres west of its junction with Burnham Crescent (2) on the north side to a point 10 metres east and 10 metres west of its junction with Arundel Road (3) on the south side to a point 10 metres east and 10 metres west of its junction with Chatsworth Road school entrance (4) on south side to a point 10 metres east and 10 metres weest of its junction with Homleigh Avenue
  • Homleigh Avenue – on both sides of its junction with Chatsworth Road for a distance of 10 metres in a south easterly direction

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
