Various Roads in the Borough of Dartford - Amendment 31: Waiting Restrictions
The effect of this made Order will be to introduce waiting restrictions (double yellow lines) on the following lengths of roads in Dartford:-
Brunel Way – (1) remove the single yellow lines for its entire length (2) place DYLs around both central islands
Bow Arrow Lane - (1) on the south side extend the existing lines from the junction with The Oaks for a distance of 8.5 metres in a westerly direction (2) on the south side from the entrance junction to Green Acres to a point 26.5 metres west joining up with the existing lines and to a point 10 metres east
Bulls Head Yard – place a no waiting at any time zone outside number 6
Copperfields – place a no waiting at any time zone for its entire length
Lawrence Hill Gardens – on both sides of the junction with Lawrence Hill Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction
Lawrence Hill Road – on the west side to a point 10 metres south and 10 metres north from the junction with Lawrence Hill Gardens
Rennie Drive – place a no waiting at any time zone from a point 10 metres from the Rennie Drive and Halcrow roundabout to the entrance to the Premier Inn site
Stanhope Road – (1) on the east side remove the disabled persons parking bay outside number 37 (2) on the east side place a disabled persons parking bay opposite 56/58
The Oaks – on both sides of the junction with Bow Green Lane extend the existing lines by 10 metres in a southerly direction.
This order has been made for the following reasons:
for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
