Various Roads, Cranbrook in the Borough of Tunbridge Wells - Amendment 13: Speed Limit Order

The effect of this made Order will be to reduce the current speed limit to 30mph on the following lengths of roads in Cranbrook, Tunbridge Wells:-

  • Angley Road – from its junction with Hartley Road to a point 88 metres north of New Road
  • Hartley Road – from a point 48 metres north east of its junction with Swattenden Lane to its junction with Angley Road
  • High Street – from its junction with Hartley Road for a distance of 82 metres in a northerly direction.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • to avoid the danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
