Various Roads, Bearsted in the Borough of Maidstone - Variation 48: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this made Order will be to introduce or amend existing waiting restrictions (waiting to be prohibited at any time) on the following lengths of roads in Bearsted in the Borough of Maidstone:-

  • Button Lane – on south side from its junction with Yeoman Way for a distance of 6 metres in an easterly direction
  • Cavendish Way - (1) on the east side from its junction with Copsewood Way for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction (2) on the west side from its junction with Copsewood Way for a distance of 15.5 meters in a northerly direction
  • Copsewood Way – (1) on the south side from its junction with Yeoman Way for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction (2) on the north side from its junction with Cavendish Way between points 15 metres east and 7 metres west (3) on the south side from a point opposite and 7 metres west of its junction with Cavendish Way for a distance of 48 metres in an easterly direction
  • Yeoman Way – (1) on east side of its junction with Button Lane for a distance of 19 metres in a southerly direction (2) n the west side of its junction with Copsewood Way for a distance of 19 metres in a southerly direction.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic(including pedestrians).

  • Copsewood Way – (1) on the south side from its junction with Yeoman Way for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction (2) on the north side from its junction with Cavendish Way between points 15 metres east and 7 metres west (3) on the south side from a point opposite and 7 metres west of its junction with Cavendish Way for a distance of 48 metres in an easterly direction
  • Yeoman Way – (1) on east side of its junction with Button Lane for a distance of 19 metres in a southerly direction (2) n the west side of its junction with Copsewood Way for a distance of 19 metres in a southerly direction.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic(including pedestrians).
