Tothill Street, Minster, Ramsgate in the District of Thanet - Amendment 5: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this made Order will introduce or amend waiting and loading restrictions double yellow lines DYL at any time on the following length of roads in Ramsgate, Thanet:-

  • Tothill Street
    (1) On both sides to the entrance to the Holiday Inn Hotel from the junction with Tothill Street for a distance of 15 metres in a westerly direction.
    (2) On the west side from the northern kerb entrance to the Holiday Inn Hotel for a distance of 6.5 metres in a northerly direction
    (3) On the west side from the southern kerb entrance to the Holiday Inn Hotel adjust the existing lines to the new kerb line
    (4) On the west side from the junction with Hadrian Road adjust the existing lines to the new kerb line and extend them by 30 metres in a southerly direction.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • for preventing damage to the road or to any building on or near the road.
