Terminus Drive, Herne Bay in the District of Canterbury - Amendment 9: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order would be to amend the existing waiting restrictions on the following length of roads in Herne Bay in the District of Canterbury:-
- Osborne Gardens – (1) on the north west side from the north eastern boundary of 43 Terminus Drive for a distance of 52 metres in a south westerly direction (2) on the south east side to a point 22 metres north east and to a point 17 metres south west from its junction with unnamed road
- Terminus Drive – on the south west side from a point 12 metres north west of its junction with Osborne Gardens to the same point on the west side the new turning head
- Unnamed Road – on both sides of its junction with Osborne Gardens for a distance of 11.5 metres in a south easterly direction.
This order is proposed for the following reasons:
- for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
- for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
- for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
