Sturry Road in Canterbury - Prohibition of traffic movements order

The effect of this made Order will be to introduce a banned right-hand turn movement (except cycles) on Sturry Road in Canterbury. This would prohibit right hand turns into the Sturry Road Trade Park when traveling in a south westerly direction.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
