Speldhurst Road, Southborough in Tunbridge Wells - Amendment 12: Speed limit order

The effect of this made Order will be to reduce the existing 40mph speed limit to a 30mph speed limit on the following length of road in Southborough, Tunbridge Wells:

Speldhurst Road – from a point in line with the western boundary of 142 Speldhurst Road to its junction with Broomhill Road.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding the danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
