South Street, Barming in the Borough of Maidstone - Amendment 8: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this made Order will be to place double yellow lines on the following length of roads in Barming, Maidstone:-

  • South Street – (1) on the east side from its junction with Tonbridge Road for a distance of 44 metres in a southerly direction (2) on the west side from its junction with Tonbridge Road for a distance of 43 metres in a southerly direction
  • Tonbridge Road – on the south side between points 7 metres west and 14 metres east of its junction with South Street.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).

  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
