Shipbourne Road in Tonbridge & Malling - Amendment 2: Speed limit order

The effect of this made Order will be to change the 40mph speed limit to 30mph speed limit on Shipbourne Road in Tonbridge. (The Amendment number of this Order has changed from Amendment 50 to Amendment 2 due to the consolidation of orders for the Borough).

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • to avoid the danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
