Sandgate library rhyme time

I really like taking my two youngest children to rhyme time in sandgate. My toddler loves joining in and proudly tells me she knows the words to the songs they sing which is so sweet. Rhyme time there is friendly and I like something I can drop into, that they run two sessions so even if struggling to get out the door with a baby and toddler I can normally make it, and it's a safe, free space to take my two little ones. As a mum who doesn't drive I really value local activities, especially in the winter when trying to get out and not just get stuck at home is harder. We normally stay to read a book and it's exciting for my toddler to be able to choose something from their great selection. I've always found rhyme time great when you are looking after more than one child as it caters so well to tots and babies.

Knowing that Sandgate library welcomes tots in for rhyme time makes me feel more comfortable being in there generally. I have to say I find the main library in central Folkestone quite run down so it is really nice to go to Sandgate which feels lively and well maintained.
