Sandown Park, Sherwood in the Borough of Tunbridge Wells - Amendment 2: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order would be to introduce School Keep Clear Markings between Mon-Fri 8am-9am and 3pm-4pm on Sandown Park in Sherwood, Tunbridge Wells – (1) on the southeast side place School Keep Clear markings across the southern entrance to Skinners Kent Academy (2) on the northwest side place School Keep Clear markings across the northern entrance to Skinners Kent Academy.

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
