Sandhurst Road, Tunbridge Wells in the Borough of Tunbridge Wells - Amendment 10 - Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order would be to extend the existing double yellow lines (DYL) on the following length of roads in Tunbridge Wells:-

  • Sandhurst Road – On the south west side at its junction with Redleaf Close extend the existing restrictions from a point 15 metres in a north westerly and from a point 15 meters in a south easterly direction for a distance of 16 metres in a north westerly and south easterly direction respectively.

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.


The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
