Royal Harbour Approach, Ramsgate in the District of Thanet - Amendment 4: Traffic Movements

The effect of this made Order will be to place an abnormal load Width Restriction for vehicles over 3.7m entering the tunnel unless pre requested from the Highway Authority on Royal Harbour Approach in Ramsgate, Thanet - from its junction with Canterbury Road to its junction with Military Road.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
