Rochester Road A226, Gravesend in the Borough of Gravesham - Amendment 14: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this made Order will be to introduce no waiting at any time double yellow lines (DYL) on Rochester Road (A226) in Gravesend, Gravesham, (1) on the west side remove both sets of School Keep Clear markings and replace with the new toucan crossing markings (2) on the east side remove 2 meters of unrestricted bays outside 61 Rochester Road and replace with footway (3) on the east side remove the existing SYL from the pay bays outside number 61 Rochester Road to just past the boundary of 27/29 Rochester Road and replace with DYL’s between the new toucan crossing markings.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
