Pound Lane, Canterbury in the District of Canterbury - Amendment 2: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order would be to amend the existing waiting restrictions (double yellow lines) on Pound Lane in Canterbury in the District of Canterbury – on the southeastern side join up the existing DYL’s from a point 30 metres northeast from its junction with St Dunstan’s Street for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction.
This order is being made for the following reasons:
- for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
- for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
- for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
