Pent Road and Sandgate Road in Folkestone - Amendment 16: Waiting restrictions

The effect of this made Order will be to place double yellow line waiting restrictions on Pent Road and Sandgate Road, Folkestone.

  • Pent Road – (1) on the north side 29 metres east from the furthest western point of Pent Road for a distance of 28 metres in an easterly direction (2) on the south side 7 metres east of Triflex Productions entrance for a distance 28 metres in an easterly direction.
  • Sandgate Road – on the north side from its eastern junction with Westbourne Gardens for a distance of 74 metres in an easterly direction to join up with the existing lines.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
