Owls Hatch Road, Herne Bay in the District of Canterbury - Amendment 7: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of the proposed named Order will be to amend the existing waiting restrictions (double yellow lines) on the following length of roads in Herne Bay, Canterbury:

  • Owls Hatch Road (North) – On both sides from its junction with Bullockstone Road for a distance of 56 metres in a south westerly then southerly direction.
  • Bullockstone Road – On the west side from its junction with Owls Hatch Road (North) to a point 10 metres north and 10 metres south.

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
