Owls Hatch Road, Herne Bay in the District of Canterbury - Amendment 3: Traffic Movements

The effect of the proposed named Order will be to prohibit motor vehicles (exemptions will apply) on Owls Hatch Road (North), Herne Bay - on the new section of road to prohibit motor vehicles from its junction with Bullockstone Road for a distance of 56 metres in a westerly direction.

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
