Owls Hatch Road, Herne Bay in the District of Canterbury - Amendment 3: Traffic Movements

The effect of the named Order will be to prohibit motor vehicles (exemptions will apply) in Herne Bay on the following length of road:-

Owls Hatch Road (North) – From a point 65 meters south of its junction with the Henley Road in a southerly then westerly direction util it meets the access road to Abbottswood Estate.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
