Osborne Road, Ashford in the Borough of Ashford - Amendment 13: Waiting Restrictions
Consultation has concluded
The effect of this proposed Order would be to introduce waiting restrictions on the following length of roads in Willesborough in the Borough of Ashford:
- Blake Court – on the northwest side from its junction with Osborne Road for a distance of 10 metres in a south westerly direction
- Breadlands Road – on the southeast side from its junction with Osborne Road to its northern boundary with 76 Breadlands Road
- Mill View – on the southeast side from its junction with Osborne Road for a distance of 18 metres in a south westerly direction
- Osborne Road – (1) on the northeast side from its western boundary with 202 Osborne Road for a distance of 31 metres in a south easterly direction (2) on the southwest side from its junction with Mill View for a distance of 23 metres in a south easterly direction (3) on the southwest side from its junction with Breadlands Road to the existing bus stop clearway in a south easterly direction (4) on the southwest side from its junction with Blake Court to the existing bus stop clearway in a north westerly direction.
This order is proposed for the following reasons:
- for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
- for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
- for preventing damage to the road or to any building on or near the road
- for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
