May Street and Bogshole Lane, Hillborough, Herne Bay in the District of Canterbury - Amendment 10: Speed Limit Order
Consultation has concluded
The effect of this proposed Order would be to implement a 20mph speed limit on the following lengths of roads in Hillborough, Herne Bay in the District of Canterbury:
- Bogshole Lane – from a point 500 metres west of its junction with May Street for a distance of 220 metres in a south westerly direction
- May Street – from its junction with Campion Avenue for a distance of 270 metres in a south easterly direction.
This order is being made for the following reasons:
- for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
- for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
- for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
