Marine Parade, Sheerness in the Borough of Swale - Amendment 3: Speed Limit

The effect of this made Order will be to reduce the existing 40mph limit to 30mph that will be denoted by streetlighting on Marine Parade in Sheerness, Swale - from the current 30 mph speed limit outside the Catamaran Yacht Club for a distance of 377 metres in an easterly direction.

This order was originally advertised as Amendment 14 but due to the recent consolidation order it has been re-named as above.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
