Manston Road, Margate in the District of Thanet - Amendment 5: Prohibition of Traffic Movements

The effect of this proposed Order would be to place a one way traffic restriction on the new access road fronting the properties 4 to 17 Manston Road, Margate, Thanet:-

  • Manston Road - From the boundary of 4/5 Manston Road to the boundary of 16/17 Manston Road for vehicles traffic travelling in a southerly direction only.

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
