Loose Road, Loose in the Borough of Maidstone - Amendment 2: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this made Order will be to remove the school keep clear markings with a small section of no waiting at any time double yellow lines (DYLs) and replace with a zebra crossing on Loose Road in Maidstone – (1) on the northwest side remove the school keep clear markings from outside Loose Primary School (2) on the southeast side remove a small section of yellow lines outside the Coach House. Replace both with a Zebra Crossing.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
