Liphook Way, Allington in the Borough of Maidstone - Amendment 33: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order would be to remove the single yellow lines and replace with double yellow lines on the following length of roads in Allington, Maidstone:-

  • Liphook Way (1) On the north west side from the western boundary of the entrance to Sekisui Diagnostics UK Limited for a distance of 38 metres in a westerly then southerly direction. (2) On the west side from a point 57 metres north of its junction with St Laurence Avenue for a distance of 42 metres in a northerly direction. (3) On the west side from a point 107 metres north of its junction with St Laurence Avenue for a distance of 151 metres in a northerly direction.

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
