Kerry Hill Way, Maidstone in the Borough of Maidstone - Amendment 21: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of the Order is to implement double yellow lines on the following lengths of roads in Maidstone:-

  • Kerry Hill Way
    (1) On the east side from its junction with Moncktons Lane for a distance of 28.5 meters in a southerly direction.

    (2) On the west side from its junction with Moncktons Lane to the access entrance to the southern water depot.
    (3) On the west side from its entrance to the southern water depot for a distance of 20 metres in an easterly then southerly direction.

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
  • for preventing damage to the road or to any building on or near the road.


The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
